Lachung permits to be issued from Monday; tour operators urged to adhere to route timings

Gangtok, Sep 6 (UNI) In North Sikkim, the Superintendent of Police, Mangan district has announced that permits for travel to Lachung will commence from Monday onwards.
These permits will be issued exclusively for the destinations of Lachung, Yumthang Valley, and Zero Point, catering to both domestic and foreign tourists.
To visit these areas, travelers must obtain the necessary permits. Indian nationals are required to present a valid voter ID, passport, or driving license, along with two passport-sized photographs.
