Labourer Killed in Domestic Dispute; Panchkula Police Arrest Accused Within 24 Hours

Panchkula, June 14 (UNI) Panchkula Police have solved the murder of a daily-wage labourer within 24 hours of the crime, arresting the accused and recovering the weapon allegedly used in the fatal attack following a domestic dispute in the Nada Sahib area.
The victim, Ravi (33), died after being struck on the head during an altercation late on June 12. The incident occurred in Nada village under the jurisdiction of Chandimandir Police Station, where both the victim and the accused were living as tenants.
According to the police investigation, the dispute originated over a domestic issue involving members of the victim's family. Ravi's wife, whose statement formed the basis of the FIR, told police that she had been unwell and was receiving help with household chores from her brother-in-law Mithun. This reportedly led to objections and an argument involving Vicky, a relative staying with Mithun.

Jaipur, Jul 13 (UNI) The Rajasthan High Court on Monday dismissed petitions against the "encroachment" demolition drive being carried out by authorities in the border belt of Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sriganganagar and Bikaner, holding that "the issue of National Security is Supreme (paramount)".
Dismissing the petitions, a Single Bench of Justice Sameer Jain held that normally followed procedural rules of natural justice can be relaxed or dropped to the demands of national security.
