KVB opens 3 new branches in TN

Chennai, Oct 9 (UNI) Karur Vysya Bank (KVB) on Wednesday inaugurated three new
branches in Tamil Nadu and increased its total branch network to 844.
The new branches were opened at Trichy, Gummidipoondi and Colachel in Kanniyamukari
district, a KVB release said.
The Trichy branch was inaugurated by Ms N. Kamini, Commissioner of Police, Gummidipoondi
branch by Ms P. Kavitha, Project Officer, SIPCOT Industrial Park, and Colachel, branch by
D.Senthil Kumar, Municipal Commissioner.
The Bank has touch points in the form of 844 branches and 2200+ ATMs and cash recyclers.
The bank offers Internet Banking and Mobile Banking facilities. KVB DLite, the Mobile Banking
app of the Bank offers convenience of financial and non-financial services through 150-plus
features.
The Bank continues to grow with its strong financials. The total business was Rs. 1,63,536 crores
as on March 31, 2024 with a deposit base of Rs.89,113 crore and advances at Rs. 74,423 crore.
The bank had posted its highest ever net profit of Rs.1,605 crore during the last financial year. Net NPA of the Bank was 0.40%.
The Bank posted a profit of Rs. 458.65 crores during the first quarter of the current fiscal year.

Corporation of India Limited (DFCCIL) has successfully launched a monumental Open Web Steel Girder measuring 110.5 metres in length and weighing approximately 1,500 tonnes at Kalamboli, in the JNPT–NILJE section of the Western Dedicated Freight Corridor (WDFC).
