KTR slams BJP for spreading lies, defends BRS Government’s legacy

Hyderabad, Feb 16 (UNI) BRS working president K T Rama Rao (KTR) expressed his strong displeasure over the BJP government's alleged misinformation campaign, stating that it has no moral right to criticise BRS’s governance in Telangana.
In an open letter, KTR reminded that Telangana was a surplus budget state even before it was forcibly merged with Andhra Pradesh.
He clarified that when Telangana was formed in 2014, it inherited a debt of Rs 70,000 crore. Despite this, after a decade of BRS rule, the state was handed over to the Congress government with a surplus budget.
