KTR confident of BRS comeback, slams Congress Govt at Vemulawada membership drive

Rajanna Sircilla, June 13 (UNI) Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) Working President K. T. Rama Rao on Saturday expressed confidence that the party would return to power in the next elections, alleging that the Congress government had failed to fulfil its promises and had lost public trust.
Addressing party workers during the digital membership registration programme for the Vemulawada constituency in Rajanna Sircilla district, KTR said BRS founder K Chandrashekar Rao had built the party from humble beginnings and transformed Telangana through several welfare and development initiatives.
Claiming that public dissatisfaction with the Congress government was growing, he alleged that farmers were being deceived through deductions in paddy procurement and accused the government of pushing the state into heavy debt.

Hyderabad, July 18 (UNI) The 15th BRICS Trade union Forum (TUF) Summit 2026, held in Hyderabad from July 14 to 16, concluded with the unanimous adoption of the Hyderabad Declaration, calling on BRICS governments to expand universal, adequate and sustainable social protection systems covering all categories of workers, including those in the unorganised sector, migrant workers, platform workers, self-employed workers, agricultural labourers and those engaged in non-standard employment.
