KPMG inaugurates new office in Kolkata

Kolkata, Jan 21 (UNI) The KPMG Global Services Delivery platform (KGSDP) on Wednesday inaugurated a new office in Kolkata for its Tax Business Unit, reinforcing the firm’s long-term commitment to the city as a key hub for global tax delivery and talent development.
KGSDP began its Kolkata operations with a small group of 50 professionals working out of a co-working space, the firm said in a media release here.

In just a few years, the team has grown to more than 200 highly skilled professionals, delivering complex, technology-enabled Tax and compliance services for global clients.
Kolkata’s growing base of finance and accounting graduates has made it particularly suited for scaled tax compliance and global mobility services, the release added.
