Kotak Securities Projects Steady Growth for Indian Equities in 2026

Bengaluru, Dec 10 (UNI) Kotak Securities Ltd on Wednesday outlined a structured and data-driven trajectory for India’s benchmark index as part of its Market Outlook 2026, projecting a stable upward movement backed by earnings strength, resilient domestic flows and sectoral tailwinds.
According to the report, the Nifty 50 is poised to progress within a well-defined range by December 2026, supported by sustained profit growth and a robust macro-economic foundation.
In its base scenario, Kotak Securities expects the Nifty to touch 29,120 by end-2026, assuming a price-to-earnings ratio of 20 times on the FY28 estimated earnings per share of ₹1,456. Given improving earnings visibility and policy support, the bull-case assessment places the index at 32,032, while the conservative scenario envisages a level of 26,208.
