Korean Ambassador meets Tripura CM

Agartala, Aug 12 (UNI) A three-member delegation from the Republic of Korea, led by Ambassador to India Seok-Ho Lee, called on Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha last evening for detailed discussions on boosting trade and commerce.
Officials said the meeting explored potential avenues to enhance economic and cultural cooperation between the two countries for improving economic and cultural ties, particularly focusing on the role that Tripura and Northeast could play in fortifying India–Korea relations.
Chief Minister Dr Saha emphasized the opportunities for trade connections with the state, expressing hope that such partnerships would strengthen bilateral relations. He also detailed Tripura’s advancements in connectivity, industry, sports, and various other sectors, while pointing out the prospects in tourism, cultural exchange, and investment, officials stated.
