Kolkata Metro services to be reduced on Green line tomorrow

Kolkata, Apr 28 (UNI) Kolkata Metro Railway will operate less number of services on Green Line-1 - between Sealdah and Salt Lake Sector V stations - on Tuesday, an official said on Monday.
The number of services is being reduced in connection with the commissioning of the commercial services over the entire stretch of Green Line, i.e. from Howrah Maidan to Salt Lake Sector V.
Total 90 services will be operated in Green Line-1 instead of 106 services tomorrow. Services will be available in 20 minutes interval.

Manipur: Govt announces Rs 10L ex-gratia for jawan who died in Pak firing

Imphal, May 12 (UNI) The Manipur government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh to the next of kin of Constable (General Duty) Deepak Chingakham of the 7th Battalion, Border Security Force (BSF), who laid down his life following a drone attack launched from Pakistan at the Kharkhola Border Outpost (BOP) on May 10, under the Major Laishram Jyotin Singh Ashok Chakra (P) Scheme for martyrs and their families.
