Kolhapur: Two brothers arrested for firing at local gangster

Kolhapur, Jul 17 (UNI) In a breakthrough, in just 12 hours, Local Crime Branch (LCB) police succeeded in arresting two brothers in connection with the shooting of gangster Suraj Sakhare.
According to LCB police, after identifying the attackers from the CCTV footage in the area, the police sent teams to search for them.
On Friday, the LCB team laid a trap near Ankali bridge and arrested the two attackers.

Mumbai's lake water stock rises to 89 05 pc amid monsoon

Mumbai, Aug 11 (UNI) Mumbai's seven lakes recorded a marginal rise in water stock amid continuing monsoon rainfall, reaching 89.05 per cent of their total useful live storage as of 6 am on Tuesday, according to data from the Hydraulic Engineer's Department.
