Kolhapur's Royal Dussehra festival gets status of major festival

Kolhapur, Sep 11 (UNI) The Maharashtra tourism and cultural affairs department has officially recognised Kolhapur's Royal Dussehra Festival by according it the status of a major festival of the state.
In an official statement, Resident Deputy Collector Sanjay Teli, giving the information, said that it is due to the special follow-up of District Collector Amol Yedge, that the state tourism and cultural affairs department has recognised Royal Dussehra festival by including it in the list of major festivals of the state.
