Kohli equals record for most IPL hundreds in chases

Raipur, May 14 (UNI) When the chase tightened and the noise swelled around him, Virat Kohli slipped into a role he has owned for more than a decade — the finisher, the anchor and the heartbeat of Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Kohli’s unbeaten 105 off 60 balls against Kolkata Knight Riders in Raipur was not merely another century in a glittering IPL career. It was another reminder that few batsmen in the league’s history have mastered the art of the chase quite like him.
The hundred carried Royal Challengers Bengaluru to a successful pursuit of 193 and lifted Kohli level with England batter Jos Buttler for the most centuries in successful IPL chases, with three each. England all-rounder Ben Stokes follows with two.
