Knowledge gives depth, maturity and lasting respect: Governor

Patna, May 11 (UNI) Bihar Governor Syed Ata Hasnain said on Monday knowledge was the strongest foundation of an individual’s personality and gave a person depth, maturity and respect in society.
Addressing the annual function “Udaan” at Magadh Mahila College here, the Governor-cum-Chancellor said that external appearance, confidence and physical abilities became meaningful only when supported by knowledge, continuous learning and intellectual growth.
Encouraging students to remain informed and socially aware, Hasnain urged them to regularly read newspapers, stay connected with current affairs and express their ideas through writing and dialogue.
