KKR vs LSG: Will Green finally start bowling in IPL 2026?

Kolkata, April 8 (UNI) Kolkata Knight Riders could finally unlock the full potential of their marquee signing Cameron Green, with the Australian all-rounder likely to resume bowling duties as they look to end their winless run against Lucknow Super Giants at home on Thursday.
Green has not bowled in any of KKR's first three outings in IPL 2026 which resulted in defeats against Mumbai Indians and Sunrisers Hyderabad, followed by a washed-out fixture against Punjab Kings after just 3.4 overs. Ahead of the season, Cricket Australia had clarified that Green would initially feature purely as a batter due to a lower-back issue.
"Cameron has a lower-back injury, which is being managed, but requires him to abstain from bowling for a short period. Cameron is currently rebuilding his bowling loads in India with a view to return in around 10-12 days' time," CA had said on March 30.
