Kia unveils all-new Seltos in global premiere from Hyderabad

Hyderabad, Dec 10 (UNI) Kia on Wednesday unveiled the all-new Seltos in a grand global premiere at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre (HICC), marking a major milestone as the company showcases the next-generation version of one of its most successful SUVs from India to the world.
Bookings for the all-new Seltos open at midnight with a token amount of Rs 25,000. Deliveries will begin in mid-January 2026, while prices will be announced on January 2.
Speaking at the launch, Atul Sood, Senior Vice President (Sales and Marketing), Kia India, said the Seltos has played a defining role in Kia’s growth since its debut in 2019, when it received more than 6,000 bookings within 24 hours and crossed 2 lakh sales in just two years. Today, it has over 5.8 lakh owners in India and 1.8 million vehicles on roads worldwide.
He said the new-generation Seltos advances Kia’s core philosophy of bold design, enhanced comfort, robust safety, and cutting-edge connectivity. The updated SUV is larger at 4,460 mm in length, offering improved cabin room, a more refined interior layout, and a redesigned digital cockpit.
The model sports a refreshed exterior with a digital tiger-face grille, connected LED tail lamps, panoramic sunroof, 30-inch integrated display, ventilated seats, and a Bose premium sound system. Safety has also been upgraded with 24 standard safety features, six airbags, and a Level 2 ADAS suite covering 28 advanced functions.
Powertrain options include 1.5-litre Smartstream petrol and 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, paired with manual, iMT, IVT, and automatic transmissions. The SUV will be offered in four trims—HTE, HTK, HTX, and GTX—with multiple customisation packs.
Sunhack Park, Chief Sales Officer, Kia India, said hosting the global premiere in Hyderabad reflects Kia’s strong relationship with India, where the Seltos was first conceptualised and developed. He said the Seltos redefined expectations in the SUV segment with its striking design, global-quality interiors, safety standards, and advanced technology.
Park added that the new-generation Seltos builds on that success with a stronger road presence, a more spacious and refined cabin, and next-level connectivity. Describing it as the “smartest, safest, and most connected Seltos ever,” he said the SUV marks an important chapter in Kia’s evolution in India.
Calling the Seltos “born in India and loved around the world,” Park said Kia remains committed to pushing boundaries, deepening customer trust, and shaping the future of mobility.
