Khattar hails Kerala Urban Conclave as model for local bodies

Kochi, Sep 12 (UNI) union Minister for Housing and Urban Affairs Manohar Lal Khattar today hailed the Kerala Urban Conclave 2025 as a model platform for local bodies across India, emphasising that urbanisation is pivotal to the nation’s growth and requires coordinated efforts from all levels of government.
Speaking at the inaugural session of the two-day Conclave here, Khattar said, “Kerala Urban Conclave 2025 emerges as a model for local bodies nationwide in urban development. With people from across India and abroad, this is truly a Global Urban Conclave.”
Underscoring the need for collective action, he urged all stakeholders not to differentiate between schemes as Central, State, or local. “All levels of government must work together for the success of urban development initiatives,” he said.
