Kharge, Rahul express sorrow over devastating floods in West Bengal, Sikkim

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi today expressed sorrow and concern over the loss of lives and extensive damage caused by heavy rains, landslides and floods in parts of West Bengal and Sikkim, particularly in the Darjeeling and North Bengal regions.

In a post on X, Kharge said, "Deeply concerned about the devastating floods in West Bengal and Sikkim, especially in the Darjeeling and North Bengal regions, where several people have lost their lives, and a bridge has also tragically collapsed".
