Kharge has admitted Cong rift, claims Karnataka BJP chief

Davanagere, Apr 21 (UNI) Karnataka BJP President Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Monday claimed that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has privately admitted that the ruling Congress in Karnataka is facing internal discord, and that the BJP and Union Home Minister Amit Shah would topple the government if the infighting continues.
"Mr Kharge, your own Congress party MLAs are working to destabilise the government," Vijayendra charged, addressing a massive public rally here. He alleged that the ruling Congress was no longer in control of its own flock, and that the political instability was being caused from within.
In a sharp attack on the Siddaramaiah-led administration, Vijayendra said the government has raised prices on more than 50 occasions since coming to power, calling it "anti-people, anti-poor and anti-farmer."
