Khandu congratulates Nitin Nabin on election as BJP National President

Itanagar, Jan 20 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday extended his hearty congratulations to Nitin Nabin on his election as the National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
Congratulating the newly elected party chief, Khandu said that Nabin’s loyalty, efficiency and visionary thinking towards the organisation would further strengthen the party and make it more empowering.
He expressed confidence that under Nabin’s leadership, the BJP would scale new heights on the path of public service, nation-building and good governance.

Mizoram budget on Feb 26; assembly session extended to March 16

Mizoram declares ASF state-specific disaster, rolls out animal insurance scheme

Aizawl, Feb 10 (UNI) In a significant relief measure for livestock farmers hit hard by recurring disease outbreaks, Mizoram Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Minister C. Lalsawivunga on Tuesday announced that the state government has declared the African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreak a state-specific disaster, paving the way for compensation to affected pig farmers.
