KFON announces increase in Data limit for BPL Category

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 25 (UNI) KFON (Kerala Fibre Optic Network Ltd), Kerala Government’s flagship initiative aimed at providing internet free high-speed internet to economically backward families in the state, has announced an increase in the data limit for BPL category users.
The free internet data limit, previously set at 1.5 GB per day at 20 Mbps speed, has now been enhanced to a monthly cap of 1000 GB at 20 Mbps. So far, 8,099 free BPL KFON connections have been provided across Kerala, including remote tribal settlements and island regions where digital access remains a challenge.
Eligible individuals in the BPL category can now apply for a free KFON connection online. Applications must be submitted through the link: https:elfcare.kfon.co.in/ewsenq.php, along with the applicant’s details and necessary documents.
