Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh to premiere on Star Gold on September 13

Mumbai, Sept 9 (UNI) Dharma Productions' historical drama "Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jallianwala Bagh", starring Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan and Ananya Panday in lead roles, is set to make its world television premiere on Star Gold on Saturday, September 13, at 8 pm.
Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the film is a stirring tale of defiance and injustice.
It revisits the watershed moment of India's colonial history through the prism of C. Sankaran Nair, the fearless lawyer who confronted the British establishment by laying bare the harrowing truth of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre of 1919.
Talking about the premiere, Akshay Kumar shared, "Playing C. Sankaran Nair has been one of the most fulfilling roles of my career. His story is a testament to the fact that courage isn't just on the battlefield—it's also found in the fight for truth and justice. "
"I'm very happy that this untold story of Jallianwala Bagh will now reach homes across the country and millions of people will know the truth behind the massacre when Kesari Chapter 2 premieres on Star Gold on 13th September at 8 PM.”
R. Madhavan commented, "Neville McKinley was a complex and challenging character to portray. His story is one of internal conflict, and it was a privilege to be a part of this powerful narrative.
