Kerala: Two fishing boats gutted in a major fire in Munambam

Kochi, Jan 4 (UNI) Two fishing boats anchored at the Pallippuram Old Boat Jetty in Munambam were gutted in a major fire on Monday night, officials informed on Tuesday.
Two boats, Lady Miracles and Felix, were completely destroyed in the fire which was brought under control by the fire units from Vipin and Paravur, sources said.
After the fire spread from one boat to the other, a few migrant labourers on board jumped into the water and swam to safety.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Police began a probe into the incident.
