Kerala suspends sale of Coldrif cough syrup over quality concerns

Thiruvananthapuram, Oct 6 (UNI) The sale of Coldrif cough syrup has been suspended across Kerala following reports of quality issues in one of its batches.
The State Drugs Control Department halted the sale and distribution of Coldrif syrup after receiving information from outside the state regarding problems with the SR-13 batch of the product.
Although a preliminary investigation indicated that this specific batch was not distributed in Kerala, the statewide suspension was implemented as a precautionary measure to ensure public safety.
