Kerala: Milma posts record profit of Rs 39.07 crore in 2024-25

Thiruvananthapuram, Apr 30 (UNI) The Trivandrum Regional Co-operative Milk Producers’ Union (TRCMPU) of Milma has posted a record profit of Rs 39.07 crore during 2024-25, which has already been passed on to dairy farmers of four southern districts as additional price incentive and cattle feed subsidy.
Noting that this was the highest profit made by TRCMPU in a decade, TRCMPU Chairman Ms Mani Viswanath said out of this Rs 35.08 crore had been passed on to farmers as additional price incentive and Rs 3.06 as cattle feed subsidy.
Dairy farmers of milk cooperative societies affiliated to TRCMPU in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta and Alappuzha districts have already received the benefits.
