Kerala is the country's most promising destination for knowledge industry: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan

Kannur, Feb 17 (UNI) Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan while laying the foundation stone of Kerala Science Park-IT Park at Ancharakandy on Tuesday, said that Kerala is the country's most promising destination for knowledge industries.
Highlighting the state's highly skilled workforce, strong support for the knowledge economy, and focus on quality research and development, Vijayan said Kerala offers the ideal ecosystem for science-and-technology-driven enterprises. Science Parks and Digital Science Parks are being established to harness emerging opportunities in these sectors, he said.
The 50-acre park, built at a cost of Rs 600 crore, will house state-of-the-art research centres under the supervision of the Kerala Science and Technology Environment Council, with academic support from Kannur University and institutions in Kozhikode and Kasaragod. Students will gain access to internships, projects, and skill development in biological research.
