Kavitha slams CM Revanth Reddy, raises Dalit, Adivasi issues on Ambedkar Jayanti

Hyderabad, April 14 (UNI) Telangana Jagruthi President Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Tuesday launched a sharp attack on Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, alleging that he was “anti-Ambedkar,” and called for justice to the poor, Dalits and Adivasis.
Speaking after paying tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar at a midnight programme organised by the United Forum for SC/ST Employees at Tank Bund, she said Ambedkar represents not just an individual but an enduring ideology centred on social justice and equality.
Kavitha said the formation of Telangana was made possible due to provisions like Article 3 of the Constitution envisioned by Dr Ambedkar, describing the state as a “gift” of Babasaheb. She, however, expressed concern over rising atrocities against Dalits and women and alleged that assigned lands belonging to Dalits were being acquired for projects.
