Kavitha demands strict action in Khammam minor assault case, visits victim at NIMS

Hyderabad, June 13 (UNI) Telangana Rakshana Sena (TRS) President K Kavitha on Saturday visited the 12-year-old girl from Khammam who is undergoing treatment at NIMS Hospital following an alleged attempted rape and assault.
Kavitha enquired about the victim's health condition and treatment from the doctors and consoled the girl's parents, assuring them of support during the difficult time.
Speaking to the media, she described the incident as heartbreaking and demanded the strictest punishment for the accused, including capital punishment. She alleged that there were reports of pressure being exerted on the family to withdraw the case and insisted that the investigation and legal proceedings be conducted without any political interference.
