Kashmir experiences spring-like weather after fresh rainfall

Srinagar, June 13 (UNI): Fresh rains lashed several parts of Kashmir on Saturday, bringing a dip in temperatures across the valley and giving weather conditions an early spring-like feel even in the middle of June.
According to the Meteorological Centre Srinagar, maximum temperatures remained below normal across most stations in Kashmir division.
The summer capital Srinagar recorded a maximum temperature of 23.8°C, which was 4.2°C below normal, while tourist resort of Pahalgam in south Kashmir settled at 17.0°C, 6.7°C below the seasonal average. The famous resort of Gulmarg recorded 16.6°C, also remaining 2.2°C below normal.
