Karnataka DCM urges Joshi to push for Mahadayi, Upper Bhadra projects

Bengaluru, Sep 7 (UNI) Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar on Saturday made an earnest appeal to Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, urging him to convince the Centre to approve the Mahadayi and Upper Bhadra projects in the state.
Shivakumar, speaking to the media on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi, emphasized the importance of these projects for Karnataka’s water security and development.
"I humbly request the honourable MP on this auspicious Ganesh Chaturthi to secure approval for the Mahadayi project and facilitate the release of funds for the Upper Bhadra Canal project. I would bow in gratitude to Pralhad Joshi if he helps clear the hurdles for these initiatives," Shivakumar said, emphasizing the urgent need for support from the Centre.
