Karna CM says Pahalgam attack result of "intelligence failure". but expresses solidarity with Centre

Bengaluru, Apr 24 (UNI) Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Thursday expressed his concerns over the recent terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, and claimed it was the result of a "significant intelligence failure" even as his Cabinet passed a resolution displaying solidarity with the central government.
The Chief Minister, addressing the media after the Cabinet meeting, underscored the importance of improved coordination between central and state agencies to prevent such attacks in the future. Siddaramaiah assured that the Karnataka government stands firmly with the nation in its fight against terrorism and extremism.
The Cabinet resolution called for enhanced security measures and greater vigilance in the wake of the incident. It urged authorities to review their intelligence-sharing protocols to ensure such lapses do not recur. UNI BDN SSP
