Kangra Police arrest four, seize heroin in NDPS Act cases

Kangra, Dec 14 (UNI) In separate operations, Kangra district police have arrested four individuals and seized over 12 grams of heroin (chitta), officials said on Saturday.
Kangra District superintendent of police Ashok Rattan told UNI that Gaggal police recovered 5.77 grams of heroin (chitta) from Akshay Kumar, a resident of Kohala in Kangra district, and Kuldeep Kumar, a resident of Ramnagar district in Jammu and Kashmir. In this regard, a case has been registered under Sections 21, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Gaggal.
In another incident, Bhawarna police recovered 6.55 grams of Heroin (chitta) near Thakurdwara Chowk from Priyan Rana of Gadiara and Aditya of Jalehar, both residents of Palampur area in Kangra district. In this regard, a case has been registered under Sections 21, 29, 61 and 85 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Bhawarna. Police said further investigation is underway in both cases.
