Kaisika Dwadasi Asthanam held in Tirumala

Tirumala, Nov 13 (UNI) The auspicious Kaisika Dwadasi Asthanam was held in Tirumala in the early hours of Wednesday.
Ugra Srinivasa Murty - the Snapana Bera of Venkateswara was paraded along with Sridevi and Bhudevi in the Mada Streets amid the drizzle under Patatopam (divine shield used during rains) between 4:30 am and 5:30 am.
Later, Asthanam was held inside Bangaru Vakili as the Vedic Pundits recited the story of an ardent devotee of Nambaduvan from Kaisika Purana.
Additional Executive Officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, Chief Vigilance and Security Officer Sridhar, temple Peishkar Ramakrishna and other temple staff were present.
