K'taka BJP chief alleges vendetta politics in Jan Aushadhi Kendra closure

Belagavi, Dec 11 (UNI) Karnataka BJP president Vijayendra Yediyurappa on Wednesday launched a sharp attack on the Siddaramaiah-led state government, accusing it of engaging in "vendetta politics" by closing Jan Aushadhi Kendras in government hospitals across both rural and urban areas.
He said the move directly impacts public welfare by restricting access to affordable medicines, framing it as a politically motivated action rather than an administrative decision.
Addressing the media, Vijayendra said the High Court had intervened to uphold programmes initiated by the Narendra Modi-led central government, ensuring the continued operation of Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
