Jumb mega block: Shiv Sena leader appeals Maha CM to allow work from home

Mumbai, May 30 (UNI) Owing to the Jumb mega block of 63 hours in the Central Railway, Adv. Susieben Shah, Spokesperson of Shiv Sena on Thursday appealed to Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to either give holidays or allow work from home for government, semi-government, as well as private offices, to avoid any untoward incidents.
As many as 930 trains will be cancelled between May 31 and June 2, which will affect lakhs of commuters.
"Millions of commuters travel on the Central Railway on a daily basis. As a result, there will be commotion across the railway network. To avoid any untoward incidents during these days, I appeal to the Government of Maharashtra to issue a notification to allow work from home or give holidays to all private as well as public offices. I also appeal to you to urge the citizens traveling from and to the areas affected to be safe and travel only if necessary," Shah stated in the letter to Eknath Shinde.
