JSW Steel Odisha conducts labour code awareness session

Bhubaneshwar, Feb 16 (UNI) JSW Steel’s Odisha Mining Division conducted a comprehensive Labour Codes Awareness Session at its Narayanposhi Iron & Manganese Ore Mines with the objective of strengthening employees’ understanding of India’s newly unified labour regulations.
The programme witnessed the participation of 250 employees, including both direct and indirect workforce members, reaffirming JSW Steel’s commitment to fostering regulatory awareness and empowering its workforce.
Senior officials from the Directorate General of Mines Safety (DGMS), Bhubaneswar Region-2, Mr. Nasina Balasubrahmaniam (DMS–Mining), Mr. K. Maheswara Reddy (DMS–Electrical), Mr. Shankarsan Behera (DMS–Mechanical), and Mr. Ulimela Siva Sankara (DDMS–Mining)—led the session and addressed the gathering.
