Joshi terms BR Patil’s letter as proof of Cong govt’s corruption

Hubballi, Jun 23 (UNI) Union Minister and senior BJP leader Prahlad Joshi on Sunday described the letter written by Congress MLA and former Minister BR Patil to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on irregularities in the Rajiv Gandhi Housing Scheme as “clear-cut evidence” of what he called the “most corrupt government” in the state’s history.
“This government is for corruption, by corruption, and of the people who indulge in corruption,” Joshi said, taking a direct swipe at the Congress regime in Karnataka. “BR Patil’s own statement is an admission that exposes the rot within the government,” he asserted.
Referring to Patil’s remarks that the Chief Minister is maintaining silence despite being aware of the alleged corruption, Joshi said, “The CM is keeping mum because he knows what is happening. If BR Patil speaks further, this government will shake.”
