JK govt committed to deliver on its promises: Dy CM

Srinagar, Mar 18 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Kumar Choudhary on Tuesday reaffirmed the government's commitment towards fulfilling all its promises and emphasised that development projects and welfare initiatives remain a top priority of the present dispensation.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated this while addressing a function at D H Pora Kulgam to commemorate the 31st death anniversary of former Speaker of Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly (JKLA), Wali Mohd Itoo.
Addressing the gathering, he stated that the government is working tirelessly to ensure progress in key sectors like infrastructure, employment, healthcare and education and other sectors.

Uttarakhand to follow UP's 'One Jail One Product' model to reform prisoners, equip them with skills

Dehradun Dec 12 (UNI) Uttarakhand will follow the Uttar Pradesh model of 'One Jail One Product' to create prison specific products, reform inmates and equip them with vocational skills. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has asked the state prisons authorities to ensure that prisoners are trained in respective vocations with the help of ITIs.
