Jammu, May 13 (UNI) Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh on Tuesday visited the Government Medical College, Jammu Hospital to enquire about the patients admitted with injuries sustained during Pakistan shelling in the last few days, particularly following "Operation Sindoor".
Accompanied by the Principal, Jammu, GMC, Dr Ashutosh Gupta, Dr Singh went to different wards where the injured have been hospitalised and also went to the intensive care unit, where two more seriously injured patients have been admitted.
Later talking to media persons, Dr Jitendra Singh placed on record his appreciation of the medical college staff, including the doctors and the nursing staff for their prompt and dedicated service which had made it possible that not a single mortality had happened among those who were admitted with injuries following the Pakistan aggression.
