Jisoo and Zayn Malik team up for romantic duet 'Eyes Closed'

Washington, Oct 10 (UNI) Global pop icons Jisoo of BLACKPINK and Zayn Malik have finally released their much-anticipated collaboration, ‘Eyes Closed,’ a tender, emotionally rich duet that dropped today.
The track explores the thrill and vulnerability of new love, with Jisoo and Malik trading heartfelt verses. Jisoo sings of longing and emotional surrender, while Malik responds with a reassuring call for patience.
The pair come together on the chorus, vowing to "fall in love with our eyes closed," against a backdrop of warm keys, acoustic guitar, subtle bass synths, and atmospheric textures.
Jisoo unveiled the release on her Instagram, much to the delight of fans across the globe.
The song arrives as Jisoo continues performing with BLACKPINK on the group’s massively successful Deadline World Tour, which has sold out stadiums across multiple continents, according to Variety.
The tour includes upcoming stops in Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Singapore, Japan, and Hong Kong, running through January 2026.
In addition to her group performances, Jisoo has also been showcasing solo material from her debut mini album, 'Amortage,' released earlier this year. The album includes standout singles such as ‘Earthquake’ and ‘Your Love.’
Meanwhile, Zayn Malik is gearing up for his first-ever Las Vegas residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM in January 2026. The seven-show run follows the success of his 2024 album, ‘Room Under the Stairs,’ and a solo tour that spanned the US, UK, and Mexico.
Malik’s most recent release prior to Eyes Closed was ‘Break Free,’ an original track created for the video game Borderlands 4. The former One Direction member continues to break new ground in his solo career, having made history with his debut album ‘Mind of Mine’, the first by a U.K. male solo artist to debut at No. 1 on both the UK and US album charts.
Jisoo began her solo journey in 2023 with her single album ‘Me,’ which became the best-selling album by a solo female artist in South Korea and the first to surpass one million copies sold, Variety reported.
With Eyes Closed, Jisoo and Zayn deliver a soulful, genre-blending ballad that bridges continents, and fanbases, with emotional depth and global star power.
