Jharkhand strengthens India’s leadership in critical minerals at World Economic Forum

Davos/Ranchi, Jan 22 (UNI) Amid rising global concerns over energy security, supply chain resilience and the clean energy transition, Jharkhand made a strong and strategic impression at the World Economic Forum, Davos.
Led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, the state delegation convened a high-level global dialogue on critical minerals, bringing together policymakers, industry leaders, academics and global experts from India, the United Kingdom, Germany and Davos.
The global hybrid roundtable, themed “From Geology to Value Creation: Opportunities in Jharkhand’s Critical Minerals”, highlighted that Jharkhand hosts 20 of the 24 critical minerals identified by the Government of India. This positions the state as a pivotal pillar of India’s energy security, geo-security and geo-economic strategy.
