Jharkhand High Court directs 342 successful candidates of 11th-13th JPSC to be made respondents

Ranchi, Jan 21, (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court's Division Bench on Wednesday issued an important direction while hearing an appeal seeking cancellation of the results of the 11th to 13th Combined JPSC Mains Examinations.
The Bench comprising Chief Justice M.S. Sonak and Justice Rajesh Shankar directed the petitioners' counsel to implead 342 successful candidates, who have already been issued appointment letters, as respondents within two weeks. The court observed that the outcome of the case would directly affect these candidates.
During the hearing, Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan, along with counsels Sanjay Piparwal and Prince Kumar, appeared on behalf of the Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC). The petitioners, Ayub Tirkey and others, were represented by advocates Subhashish Rasik Soren and Shobha Lakra.

State to seek higher ethanol procurement quota from Centre: Jaiswal
