Jharkhand HC seeks tentative dates for civic polls

Ranchi, Nov 10 (UNI) The Jharkhand High Court on Monday heard a contempt petition filed over the delay in holding municipal elections in the state and sought clarification from the State Election Commission (SEC) about tentative dates for conducting the polls.
The next hearing in the matter has been scheduled for November 24.
During the hearing, Advocate General Rajiv Ranjan informed the court that the Triple Test report required for determining reservation of seats in municipal bodies has been submitted to the State Election Commission.
