Jharkhand begins strategic global engagements on opening day of WEF 2026 in Davos

Ranchi, Jan 19 (UNI) Jharkhand commenced its strategic global engagements on the opening day of the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, marking a significant step in positioning the State within global economic and policy dialogues.
The Jharkhand delegation, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, began day one with a series of high-level, structured interactions aimed at strengthening long-term international partnerships, attracting responsible investment, and expanding global collaboration pathways.
The State’s engagements were centred around the India Pavilion and the Jharkhand Lounge, which served as key platforms for discussions with senior leadership from global corporations, international business councils, and institutional partners. These interactions reflected Jharkhand’s focus on collaboration in industrial manufacturing, technology, sustainability, and institutional cooperation.
