Jharkhand: 48 state migrant workers safely return from Tunisia following CM's intervention

Ranchi, Nov 8 ( UNI ) Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has ensured the safe return of forty eight migrant workers from the African nation of Tunisia.
The workers, hailing from Hazaribagh, Giridih, and Bokaro districts, had been stranded for the past three months without pay and were facing severe financial distress.
Upon learning of their plight, the Chief Minister took immediate cognizance of the matter and directed the Department of Labour, Employment, Training, and Skill Development to take swift action.

Ranchi, Dec 8 (UNI) Under a nationwide campaign launched by the Teachers Federation of India (TFI), the Akhil Jharkhand Prathamik Shikshak Sangh on Sunday submitted memoranda to several Members of Parliament from Jharkhand, urging the Prime Minister to intervene in the matter of mandatory Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for teachers appointed before the implementation of the Right to Education (RTE) Act, 2009.
