JE suspended for not replacing faulty transformer in Haryana

Chandigarh, June 13 (UNI) Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Anil Vij suspended Sanjay Kumar, junior engineer of the Ambala Industrial Area Sub-Division, for failing to replace a faulty transformer in Chandpura village of Ambala Cantonment even after 15 days.
Villagers from Chandpura had submitted a complaint to the Energy Minister about the problem, upon which he took swift action and directed the suspension of the JE.
The villagers alleged that the power transformer in Chandpura had been non-functional for several days, and they had lodged a complaint about it with JE Sanjay Kumar of Industrial Area, Ambala Cantonment, nearly 15 days ago.

Bhopal, July 9 (UNI) Vatsala, the oldest elephant in Madhya Pradesh and unofficially considered to be the world's oldest elephant too, died at the Panna Tiger Reserve (PTR) of the state. Unofficially, she was considered to be more than 100 years old
The cow was a legend and pride of the PTR.
