JD(U) slams Rahul for dubbing Bihar caste census as "farce"

Patna, Jan 20 (UNI) JD(U) on Monday sharply criticised Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for describing the caste census carried out in Bihar as a "farce".
Spokesman of JD(U) Neeraj Kumar told media persons here that Congress had no right to criticise the caste census conducted by the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar.
Congress leaders had participated in an all-party meeting convened. by Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and given their consent for modus operandi adopted for caste census, he pointed out. If there was any sort of anomaly in the procedure adopted for caste census, why Congress leaders had given their consent in the all-party meeting, he asked.

Arms cache recovered by Giridih police during Anti-Naxal operation

Giridih, Feb 7 (UNI) Giridih Police achieved a breakthrough in an anti-Naxal operation on Saturday, recovering a cache of arms and explosives from the foothills of Parasnath in Jharkhand. The joint team of police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) unearthed rifles, hand grenades, and other weapons that had been buried underground by Naxal operatives.
