JD(U) MLAs demand CM post for Nishant Kumar

Patna, March 8 (UNI) Some young Janata Dal (United) MLAs on Sunday demanded that Nishant Kumar, son of Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, be made the next Chief Minister of the state following his formal entry into active politics.
The demand was raised soon after Nishant joined JD(U) earlier in the day. Party workers present on the occasion were seen raising slogans in support of Nishant and carrying placards projecting him as the next Chief Minister of Bihar.
Some young party MLAs also backed the demand, saying Nishant Kumar could carry forward the development initiatives undertaken in the state during the past two decades under Nitish Kumar’s leadership.
