Jatra industry on a path of revival

Kolkata, Aug 26 (UNI) Over the course of the last few years, the jatra industry of Bengal is well on its way out of intensive care.
Thanks to the special initiative of Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, the glory days are gradually on their way back.
From 2012, the Bengal Government has been making serious efforts to revive the stature of everyone involved with jatra.

Medical intern expelled from DRPGMC Tanda for attacking junior with knife

Kangra, Mar 20 (UNI) An intern medical student of Dr. R.P.Govt Medical College Kangra at Tanda was expelled from the college for 18 months and fined Rs. 1.8 lakh for allegedly attacking a junior MBBS student with a knife on the eve of Holi in the college ground, medical college sources said here on Wednesday.
