Janmashtami celebrated with devotion in Guruvayur, massive turnout of devotees

Thissur, Sep 14 (UNI) Janmashtami was celebrated with religious fervour in Guruvayur and many Krishna temples in the state with a large number of devotees thronging for darshan on the birth day of Lord Srikrishna.
Special poojas were conducted and special arrangements were made to ensure smooth darshan to the devotees. An unprecedented rush of devotees has been witnessed in the Guruvayur temple since early morning.
Shobhayathra processions arranged by the Nair Samajam was an added attraction in which hundreds of small children attired in dresses similar to little 'Unnikkannan' marched along the temple pathways.
