Patna, Oct 31 (UNI) Jan Suraaj Founder Prashant Kishor, popularly known as PK on Thursday challenged RJD Chief Lalu Prasad Yadav to project youth other than his son from Yadavas as CM candidate and if he did so, Jan Suraaj would extend full support to his party.
Kishor, while addressing a series of public meetings in favour of his party candidate Mohammad Amzad for the byelection to Belaganj Assembly seat, said that RJD chief Lalu Prasad had been whipping caste sentiments only for electoral advantage of his son Tejaswi Prasad Yadav.
Lalu had been uniting Yadavas to seek their support for making his son Tejaswi, as the next CM of Bihar, he pointed out.
"If Lalu is so concerned for Yadavas, he should project a youth other than his son from this community as CM candidate and in such a situation, Jan Suraaj will extend all support to RJD", PK said, adding that Lalu was only concerned for his son and not Yadavas.
Lalu would never project any youth other than his son for CM candidate, he emphasised.
Kishor exhorted the people to ensure defeats of NDA and Grand Alliance candidates in the assembly by-election to four seats in Bihar. It would pave the for Janata Sarkar (government of people) for being voted to power in 2025 Bihar assembly election, he pointed out.
The byelection will be held for four assembly constituencies-- Belaganj, Tarari, Ramgarh and Imamganj. Sitting MLAs of all these seats were elected to Lok Sabha recently necessitating a bypoll.
